img package

I have found Img Package (http://drupal.org/project/img_filter) to be a great module to get images into posts while the CCK situation is still up in the air. Whithin this module there is the choice between Lightbox or Thickbox, becuase Thickbox is not available for Drupal 6 I went for Lightbox.

I started to recive a few complaints that the Lightbox feature was not working in Firefox2. It seemed to work fine in Firefox3 Beta and Safari.

I therefore set out on the mission to move to Thickbox! I found a patch posted on Drupal.org, got that running and the rest is history.

I have attached a screenshot of my site for you to try it out. Let me know if you have any problems.

Everyday I search drupal.org for modules to see if there are any new ones added and to see if I missed any on the last search. One thing that has troubled me a little is how to add images to posts on Drupal 6. In Drupal 5 it was easy, just add CCK and Image Field and you were sorted but in Drupal 6 these modules haven't yet been released. I haven't really had a good look for an alternative but when I noticed Img package I found what I hadn't been looking for, if you understand.

Anyway, Img Package works on file uploads and if the uploaded file is an image it positions it in the post. Here is a photo of me as an example .
