Yesterday I spend the day at the Hard Rock Calling festival in Hyde Park, London. The line-up featured Robert Randolf, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow and Eric Clapton. It was a great day and out of the four times I have seen Eric Clapton this was the best.

It has just been announced that George Sampson, the teenage break dancer, has won Britain's got talent 2008.

He fought off tough competition from a host of variety acts to take the £100,000 prize and chance to perform in front of Prince Charles at the Royal Variety Performance 2008.

Second place went to Signature, the Michael Jackson / Asian dance duo, as featured on YouTube, Digg and Diggnation.

Third place went to Andrew Jonston the 13 year old choir boy

 I have just finished reading The Sunday Times rich list and it has made me sick. All the people with all their money, and me with very little.

There are many people who have got their fortunes through divorce and inheritance which is wrong for a start. What have they done to deserve that apart from be in the right place (or family) at the right time.
