Live DiggNATION with Microsoft Silverlight

As I type this I am watching DiggNATION live from Amsterdam on http://revision3.com/watch/. It is being streamed as a WMV via Microsoft Silverlight. I had to download Silverlight specially for it and couldn't get it to work on Firefox 3 on my Macbook Pro, but managed to get it to work on Safari. This is my first experience with Silverlight and it is bad. The sound keeps loosing sync and the sound isn't really that good. Why not just use Flash or quicktime? Edit: Just noticed under the stream "(Please note: The Next Web 2008 conference is hosting and providing the live stream and chose to Microsoft Silverlight for that purpose, NOT Revision3)", i'm still blaming Silverlight but not Revision3. I guess they knew it wasn't that good so had to pass the buck.
