How to effectively dump a Drupal database?

With search data, statistics, cache tables, and log messages Drupal databases can get pretty big, but a lot of the data is disposable. Search data can be reconstructed, caches can be rebuilt, and old log messages can be ignored. So thanks to the help of Jonathan Webb I have an awesome bash script to dump drupal databases and ignore a lot of this data whilst still keeping the tables intact to be used after the database is re-imported.
